All referrals are personally reviewed and triaged by Dr Salfinger.
All suspicious and biopsy confirmed malignancies will be reviewed within 1 week.
Triage Guide Certain benign conditions may have longer waiting periods to obtain an appointment so as to maintain priority for the patients with proven or suspicion of having a malignancy.

We aim to see all new cancer patients within 1 week.
Complex but not overtly malignant ovarian masses will usually be seen in about 2 weeks.
High grade abnormal pap smears with 2-4 weeks.
Pleas contact Dr Salfinger directly if you believe you patient need to be seen by a particular time to discuss their case and how to best expedite their care.
To make the bets of the patients and to help their journey please ensure that they have relevant investigations available.
Ovarian masses should ideally have at least Ca-125, Ca 19.9 and CEA check before their appointment. All confirmed or suspicious malignancy cases should have a CT scan of abdomen and pelvis (+/- chest). If you have any queries about what investigation are required please contact the rooms.

- Clinically urgent due to symptoms - see within 1 to 2 weeks
- Low index suspicion for malignancy - see within 2 to 3 weeks
